Mrs Rayner – The Long Road Ahead part 2!

Saturday 18th January

8am

So, my weekend started with an 8 o’clock exercise class on a bike. The class is called ‘spinning’ and its VERY hard work, lots of fun and great for keeping fit. I try and go at least twice a week normally to keep me fit, so this will help keep my heart healthy and my legs strong – both very useful for a long walk! I exercised for about 45 minutes and my heart raced! Great exercise!

12:30

I went for a very long walk with a friend of mine, Miss Chinnery. She is the Deputy Head of Putteridge Primary School and we are old friends from university. We talked lots while we were walking, and the sun was shining, so the kilometres passed quickly. We walked for over 2 hours and managed over 13km. I was quite happy with that.

I had a little nap when I got home!
