Good morning Year 3!
It’s Wednesday which means we’re halfway there…
Your maths work for today can be found here.
Can you help Ash Ketchum catch ’em all?
Check if you have any homework left over from last week – we have extended the completion date if you haven’t finished it!
You also have sessions on TT Rockstars to complete – how close are you to completing 75 garage games and 25 studio games?
Following on from yesterday, we are still focusing on word classes, sentence structure and grammar.
Can you remember what a conjunction is and what it does?
Today you will be looking at how they express time, place or cause.
More information can be found here.
Can you complete this worksheet for today’s learning?
Comment below on how well you think you have understood the learning!
This week, your reading learning will be based on James and the Giant Peach.
Read chapters 8 to 12 here.
Once you have read the chapters, complete the questions set for you here!
Following on from last week’s RE lesson, we will be looking at the religion of Islam in more detail, particularly focusing on how festivals and worship show what is important to Muslims.
Can you research about a Muslim festival/celebration and create a spider diagram or fact sheet all about your chosen festival/celebration.
You can find some useful information here.
Stay safe, keep washing your hands and keep checking all of the class pages too!
From all of the Year 3 Team!
